Ebrahim Rahbari, Head of Rates Strategy at Absolute Strategy Research, recently participated as a panelist at the 12th Annual Ben Graham Conference hosted by CFA Society New York.
Speaking on the panel “Investing During the Current Administration: Tariffs, Rates, and Volatility,” Ebrahim joined industry peers to discuss key issues shaping markets today, including geopolitics, inflation, tariffs, and the outlook for the Federal Reserve.
One of Ebrahim’s main takeaways from the discussion was that many market participants increasingly believe inflation is likely to remain elevated, despite numerous moving parts in the global economy.
He was joined on the panel by Melissa Brown (SimCorp), Nancy Davis (Quadratic Capital), Jenny Van Leeuwen Harrington (Gilman Hill Asset Management), and Jake Schurmeier (Harbor Capital Advisors), with Sergei Klebnikov of Forbes serving as moderator.
